    Welcome to my website! My name is David Barton.
    I am an artist from massachusetts. i hold a BFA in drawing and painting from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. IN 1991 I was diagnosed with AIDS at the age of 27. I have danced with death many times over the past 30+ years. During those years, I have battled cancer seven times, experienced 3 heart attacks, and had a Bone marrow transplant. i am currently on dyalysis three times a week, due to my kidneys failing from all the chemotherapies and medications i have received. I am happy that i am undetectable and in remission. besides all the medical history, I have also experienced clinical depression and I have undergone years of therapy and many ect treatments. I believe god has watched over me and I feel truly blessed. During one of my chemotherapy treatments i experienced a very intense hallucination, I went flying with winged creatures that were part human and part animal These tribal angels came alive with abstract features and glowing colors which invoke feelings that draw you in. this hallucination had such an impact on me that i have been drawing these creatures for some time. each one being unique with it's own personality.
